In
other words, we ALL go through what she appropriately calls “going
through the wonkiness.” Before breaking through to a newer version of
you and new level of success, we must have the courage to push through
the old behavior patterns and old mindset in order to move into our next
level of success. And, in the same vain, your personal growth always
precedes your business growth. So, no worries, you are not crazy and
your life is not falling apart at the seams when you go through this!
I’m here today to tell you - you are NOT alone.
This week I was
in the thick of wonky-ville! I started the year off with goals and intentions
to uplevel my business in several ways. My goals included adding corporate
clients to my roster of VIP services. Grateful servicing a superb corporate
client. My goals included finding the right business assistant that I did not
have to teach much how to represent my “voice and brand” in my marketing. Found
her and making it work. My goals included finding a web designer I could
resonate with and really got who I was to create a new website and brand. Found
her and watch for this summer! My goals included having a wider reach to
connect with my audience and build upon my credibility. I’m in the thick of it
given the creative projects and people I am honored to be collaborating with.
Wow, so grateful after five months!
But here comes the twist. With all this movement and energy comes the “wonky.”
It looks like this: people and situations showing up that represent “old patterns” and “beliefs” that no longer serve you nor your growth and new successes. So guess what? I am now holding on with every fiber to move through the wonkiness that is expected as a part of my journey called transformation. Geez it’s not comfortable – but there is always a pay-off called success and a better version of you.
So what’s the secret to get
through it? Here are my 5 tips to help you not fly the coop and stay sane in
the middle of the chaos:
1 1. Reach
out for help and support. Don’t be shy in asking for this. Everyone goes
through this at one time or another. Talk to friends or business associates who
relate with your industry and understand what you may be going through. They
will soften the edges for you!
2 2. Ramp
up your spiritual practices by journaling, listening to spiritual mentors, and
anything else that helps “ground” you as you move through this stage. Trust me.
The wonkiness goes away when you breakthrough.
3 3. Allow
yourself to feel the doubt, fear, concern, worry but find a way to release it.
Cry. Scream into a pillow. Exercise. Anything that will help you release the
blocked energy in your body. You will feel soooo much better!
4 4. Stay
true to your goals and dignity. Regardless of what you are going through – TRUST
the process and keep your heart and mind focused on your goals and outcome. Let
go and Let God!
5 5. Acknowledge
yourself for the successes you’ve had in the past while focusing on taking care
of you in the present. Read through your success journal and remember what it
took to get there.
Let me know your thoughts by posting on the blog! I'd love to read about your "wonky" times. Hang tight! Life is always getting better when we believe.
Gratitude & Prosperity!
